However, he has now decided to stop performing in hotels and instead organize his own monthly shows. These concerts will bring people together to enjoy his music while engaging in cultural activities such as riddles, proverbs, and storytelling that celebrate Rwanda\u2019s roots. \u201cMy journey began with performing in hotels, but I realized my art deserves a unique platform,\u201d Rukotana explained. \u201cThat\u2019s why I chose to create my own shows, where people will gather to sing my songs, reconnect with our culture, and share joyful moments through traditional music.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This shift comes shortly after the release of his debut album Imararungu, which features tracks such as Umunyana, U Rwanda, Amatajye, Mpobera, Ku Muyange, Juru, Inyange, Hozana, and Yampayinka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With seven years of experience in the music industry, Rukotana has also released other songs spanning both traditional and love themes, including Sweet Love, Promise, Warumagaye, Romance, Umubavu, Se Agapo, Love, and Kideyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The upcoming concerts, set to begin in October 2025, aim to serve as a cultural hub where fans of traditional music can connect, celebrate, and preserve Rwanda\u2019s values.
