Although she avoided saying Nicki\u2019s name directly, the implication was clear. The whispers date back years, fueled by a leaked Ye clip claiming Cardi was \u201can Illuminati plant\u201d meant to replace Nicki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cardi acknowledged that she\u2019s clashed with peers in the industry, but rejected the idea that she\u2019s out to sabotage anyone\u2019s career. \u201cSometimes people just don\u2019t vibe with each other,\u201d she said. \u201cThat doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019m here to trample on someone else\u2019s success.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her rivalry with Nicki Minaj remains one of the most notorious in rap history, reaching a boiling point at New York Fashion Week in 2018 when Cardi infamously threw a shoe at Nicki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On her latest project Am I The Drama, Cardi calls out fellow rappers BIA and JT, as well as her estranged husband Offset, showing how personal grievances continue to shape her music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicki, on the other hand, seems poised to respond in her own lane.
