Kubwimana Nicolas, a 38-year-old Rwandan author, has released three new books that explore ideas on how humanity can live harmoniously, foster cooperation, and overcome forces that divide societies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The books were officially launched on September 30, 2025, in Huye District, where Kubwimana also carries out most of his literary work. They include Ubucuruzi Mpuzamahanga, Volume I<\/em>, Ubucuruzi Mpuzamahanga, Volume I, B<\/em>, and Humura<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trained in heritage conservation, Kubwimana attributes his passion for writing to his late father, who was also an author and held a PhD. He began writing in 2018, starting with Humura<\/em>, inspired by the Humura Foundation he established in 2012. He began working on the other two volumes in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Humura<\/em>, Kubwimana addresses the struggles of people burdened by depression, loneliness, and the scars of history, urging them to find comfort and build a better world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead, he envisions a world 5,000 years into the future marked by unity and peace\u2014where Africa exists as a single nation. Drawing on history, he points to the Berlin Conference, when European powers partitioned Africa and still view it as one entity. He argues that Africans should embrace unity themselves, as it would strengthen the continent\u2019s voice in global trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also calls for long-term global planning that goes beyond the political agendas of leaders in limited terms of office. According to him, individual freedom and responsibility should drive people to contribute meaningfully, ensuring collective progress for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among those who reviewed the works is Th\u00e9og\u00e8ne Nyamwasa, an employee at SONARWA Insurance, who praised Kubwimana\u2019s vision. \u201cI used to think long-term projections about the world only existed in movies. Seeing a Rwandan writer reflect on what the world could look like 5,000 years from now is truly inspiring,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three books are available in Kinyarwanda, French, and English. They will be promoted across Rwanda\u2019s universities and higher learning institutions, as well as abroad in countries such as Canada and Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each copy is priced at $140, and online purchases require upfront payment before delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
