What we achieved was through collaboration and mutual understanding with the residents,\u201d he said. \u201cThis cow is not mine alone; it belongs to all the villagers who worked with me to build a united and peaceful community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fellow Village Leaders Praise His Commitment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Neighbouring village leaders described Ndahayo as a model of integrity and dedication whose work has become a learning reference for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marie Ntegerejumukiza, leader of Muremera Village, said Ndahayo\u2019s leadership has been a great lesson for colleagues: \u201cHis commitment and the way he listens to his residents are truly inspiring. We learned a lot from him. We all wished we could bring this award home, but even though we didn\u2019t, it motivates us to serve our people better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Louise Umuhoza, leader of Kanyinya Village in Rwoga Cell, added: \u201cI honestly didn\u2019t expect Ruyogoro to win, but it showed me that only hard work and dedication produce results. I plan to meet him so he can share some of the strategies he used, so that next time our village can also compete at the top.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Residents Celebrate Their Leader<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents of Ruyogoro Village welcomed the award with joy, praising Ndahayo for his approachable attitude, consistency, and ability to keep the community united and secure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vestine Mukanyirigira, a resident, said: \u201cOur leader listens to us and understands our challenges. When you live in a peaceful village, you naturally see development. We are proud that this award came to our home.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jean Pierre Twahirwa, a local farmer, added:\u201cThe cow is a reward for all of us because we built this village together. Our leader guides us with clarity and always communicates openly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alphonsine Mukabutera emphasized that the village has transformed because of stable leadership: \u201cWhen a leader works well, people feel safe and work in harmony. We have spent many years without conflicts. He helped us, and we helped him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>District Mayor Commends Exemplary Leadership<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ruhango District Mayor Valens Habarurema congratulated Ndahayo, saying his leadership demonstrates how effective grassroots governance can contribute to national development. \u201cNdahayo is an outstanding leader at the village level.
