The Government of Rwanda has officially launched a partnership with the International Institute for Diplomacy (IID), a global organization based in Switzerland that provides services in diplomacy, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement was signed in Geneva, Switzerland, by Rwanda\u2019s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Urujeni Bakuramutsa, and IID President Pablo Demierre, who was accompanied by Vice President Vincent Subilia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MoU outlines the framework for collaboration between the two parties in areas such as high-level diplomatic training, dialogue, international law, professional capacity building, communication, and mutual cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides committed to sharing knowledge and experience in diplomacy and political education. Staff from both institutions will also participate in specialized diplomatic training programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IID is recognized as a long-term solution provider in a world increasingly affected by geopolitical tensions, offering expertise in peacebuilding and guidance towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
