In the hills of Rwanda\u2019s Muhanga District, a young footballer with big dreams has been quietly building a path toward international football. Today, Ndayishimiye Barthazar is emerging as one of Rwanda\u2019s brightest young talents after earning a place in the prestigious FC Bayern World Squad program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barthazar\u2019s football journey began through The Winners Football Training Center, a youth academy known for developing talented young players in Rwanda. Founded in 2008, the academy has produced several players who later featured for national teams and professional clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From an early age, coaches recognized Barthazar\u2019s technical ability, discipline, and intelligence on the ball. His performances gradually attracted attention beyond Rwanda, especially through the growing partnership between Rwanda and German giants FC Bayern Munich<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, Barthazar successfully passed trials for the FC Bayern Global Academy, a special development program designed for elite young talents from outside Germany. The academy brings together promising players from different countries and integrates them into Bayern Munich\u2019s football development system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The young midfielder quickly adapted to the demanding European environment. According to Bayern Munich\u2019s official player profile, Barthazar was born on September 20, 2007, stands at 1.75 meters tall, and plays primarily in midfield. He is right-footed and lists becoming a professional footballer as his biggest sporting goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the 2025 season with the FC Bayern Global Academy, Barthazar emerged among the team\u2019s leading scorers, netting seven goals while helping the side enjoy an impressive unbeaten run across several international youth matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His performances earned him one of the biggest opportunities of his young career: selection to the prestigious U19 FC Bayern World Squad alongside fellow Rwandan talent David Okoce. The achievement was celebrated by Rwanda\u2019s football community and sports authorities as another sign of the country\u2019s growing football development structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FC Bayern World Squad is internationally respected for identifying and nurturing elite young players from across the globe. Through the program, players receive professional-level training, international exposure, and the possibility of progressing into professional football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Rwanda, Barthazar\u2019s rise represents more than individual success. It reflects the growing impact of youth academies such as The Winners Football Training Center and the expanding football development partnerships between Rwanda and European clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FC Bayern Munich and the Rwanda Development Board recently extended their football development partnership until 2028, placing even greater emphasis on talent identification and youth football development in Rwanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Rwanda, many young footballers now see Barthazar as proof that international opportunities are possible through discipline, hard work, and structured development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From local training grounds in Muhanga to the global stage of Bayern Munich\u2019s youth system, Ndayishimiye Barthazar is writing a story that continues to inspire Rwanda\u2019s next generation of football talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
