Bryan and DT Keyz, both of whom are based in the United States.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The announcement comes just two months after Mabano first dropped the single. He revealed that the collaboration began after the Haitian artists discovered the track online and reached out to him.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThey came across the song and really liked it. They asked me if we could rework it together,\u201d Mabano explained. \u201cThey first contacted me through Instagram since we had never met or known each other before.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Rwandan star said he agreed to the partnership after reviewing the artists\u2019 musical profiles and noting their impressive streaming numbers on digital platforms.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cAfter seeing their request, I took time to check their presence on music platforms. Once I realized they had strong numbers and that the collaboration would be mutually beneficial, we agreed to work together,\u201d he added.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Mabano launched his music career in 2017, but it was his breakthrough hit Iyo Utegereza that cemented his status as one of Rwanda\u2019s leading voices in contemporary music.
