Rwandan artist Ruti Joel<\/strong>, widely known for his diverse collection of songs, is in deep mourning following the death of his grandmother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through his Instagram account, Ruti Joel shared a heartfelt photo with his grandmother, describing her as one of the most important figures in his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a touching tribute, he wrote:
\u201cRest in peace, my beloved. Thank you for loving me so much. I will always love you, my best friend.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These words reflect the profound love and respect he held for his grandmother, whom he affectionately called \u201cmy best friend,\u201d<\/em> symbolizing her role as the heart of the family and a guiding presence in his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruti Joel went on to thank his grandmother for being a role model, promising to cherish her memory forever. He recalled her teachings about love and emphasized that he will always hold onto the moments they shared.
\u201cI am deeply saddened,\u201d<\/em> he said, \u201cbut life sometimes separates us from those we love.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of Ruti Joel\u2019s close friends told InyaRwanda that his grandmother had been unwell for some time, and by Monday, the family had begun to lose hope. She passed away on the evening of Tuesday, August 25, 2025, at around 6:00 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruti Joel\u2019s grandmother had once drawn public attention when she attended the launch of his album \u201cMusomandera\u201d<\/em> in December 2023 at the Intare Conference Arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
