{"id":700,"date":"2025-08-29T16:30:10","date_gmt":"2025-08-29T16:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/africadiplomacy.net\/?p=700"},"modified":"2025-08-29T16:30:38","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T16:30:38","slug":"the-ben-arrives-in-the-uk-ahead-of-coventry-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/africadiplomacy.net\/?p=700","title":{"rendered":"The Ben Arrives in the UK Ahead of Coventry Concert"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Rwandan music star The Ben officially arrived in Coventry, United Kingdom, on the morning of August 29, 2025, just hours before his highly anticipated concert scheduled for later that evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon his arrival, fans and members of the local Rwandan community gave him a warm welcome before he checked into his hotel to rest ahead of the performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ben is currently on an international tour promoting his new album <em>The Plenty Love<\/em>, released in January 2025 under the Nigerian distribution company <strong>One RPM<\/strong>, which has quickly become a leading platform for Rwandan artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His UK show comes after a string of successful performances across Europe, Canada, the United States, and Uganda. Earlier this month, he surprised audiences by making an unannounced appearance at Ugandan artist T-Paul\u2019s concert, where he performed in support of his fellow musician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Plenty Love<\/em> album marks The Ben\u2019s first major release since his historic sold-out concert at Kigali\u2019s BK Arena on January 1, 2025.
