{"id":914,"date":"2025-09-10T06:05:32","date_gmt":"2025-09-10T06:05:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/africadiplomacy.net\/?p=914"},"modified":"2025-09-10T06:06:19","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T06:06:19","slug":"bruno-k-criticizes-journalists-who-linked-him-to-gogos-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/africadiplomacy.net\/?p=914","title":{"rendered":"Bruno K Criticizes Journalists Who Linked Him to Gogo\u2019s Death"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ugandan musician Bruno K, currently in Rwanda to attend the funeral of his close friend Musabyimana Gloriose, popularly known as Gogo, has spoken out against claims tying him to her death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following Gogo\u2019s passing, some journalists and social media users in Uganda alleged that Bruno K had overworked her, suggesting this contributed to her death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking during an interview on Royal FM, Bruno K dismissed the accusations, stressing that his role was to support Gogo\u2019s career, not exploit her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese are lies being spread by people back home who dislike me and are pushing their own agendas,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen I welcomed Gogo, nobody told me she was sick or had any problem. I only tried to help her gain recognition because I genuinely cared about her.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bruno K further claimed that a group of journalists and social media influencers have been deliberately working to damage his reputation in Rwanda by portraying him as responsible for Gogo\u2019s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What pained him most, he added, was the hypocrisy of some of those making such claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese are the same people who never supported Gogo while she was alive,\u201d he explained. \u201cWhen she needed them, they ignored her.
