{"id":936,"date":"2025-09-11T05:28:28","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T05:28:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/africadiplomacy.net\/?p=936"},"modified":"2025-09-11T05:28:29","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T05:28:29","slug":"ross-kana-responds-to-critics-over-his-expensive-music-productions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/africadiplomacy.net\/?p=936","title":{"rendered":"Ross Kana Responds to Critics Over His Expensive Music Productions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ross Kana, one of the Rwandan artists known for releasing high-budget music projects, has responded to critics who accuse him of wasting money, resulting in him producing fewer songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking in an exclusive interview with <em>IGIHE<\/em> after releasing his new single <em>\u201cMolela\u201d<\/em>\u2014a project in which he invested more than $25,000 (over Rwf 35 million)\u2014Ross Kana said he does not see any problem in spending heavily on quality music. He emphasized that his aim is to create unique and outstanding work that sets him apart from other artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He explained:<br>\u201cPeople are free to say what they want, but it all depends on an artist\u2019s vision. What is your vision as an artist? Even though music is business, for me it is driven by passion. Besides, every artist\u2019s work should stand out, and often, making something different comes at a high cost.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ross Kana further noted that expensive projects can, in turn, yield greater returns:<br>\u201cWhen people watch my music videos, they can see the effort I put in. That alone makes potential collaborators or clients confident in hiring me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that fans should focus on appreciating the quality of his work rather than criticizing the number of songs he produces:<br>\u201cI believe in delivering excellence. If I give you a great song, you shouldn\u2019t complain that I haven\u2019t given you many songs.
