Four Kigali-based teams Elites, Drums, Snipers, and Panafrika are set to battle for the trophy in Rwanda’s Billiards Championship, now in its second edition.
On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the semifinals and final will take place at Mundi Center, the regular venue for the championship games.
The tournament attracted 15 teams, divided into four groups of four and one group of three. In the semifinals, Snipers will face Drums, while Elites will clash with Panafrika.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. The champions will receive Rwf 1,000,000, the runners-up Rwf 250,000, and the third-placed team Rwf 300,000.
The competition was organized by the Rwanda Billiards Federation as part of efforts to strengthen its activities and meet requirements set by the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB). This will allow the federation to gain full recognition both nationally and by the Ministry of Sports.

“The Billiard Association of Rwanda is organizing tournaments to help boost its activities and fulfill the requirements set by RGB.”

“Players from the top-performing teams will compete in the finals.”
