Life is a Priceless Gift – Gauchi Releases New Song Ahead of Album Launch

Rwandan rapper Gauchi has unveiled a new single titled “Ubuzima” a track that sets the stage for his upcoming album “Collabo”, expected in the coming months.

Released on Thursday, August 21, the song carries a powerful message about treasuring life as a divine and irreplaceable gift. Staying true to his lyrical style, Gauchi uses “Ubuzima” to reflect on real-life experiences, urging listeners to live purposefully and show kindness to one another.

“Life is a gift given to us only once. When it ends, it’s gone forever. That’s why we must live carefully, cherish one another, and remember that everything we do follows us,” Gauchi explained. “Good deeds may return as blessings, while wrong choices also come back to us.”

The rapper noted that the inspiration behind “Ubuzima” comes from a desire to remind people never to take life for granted. “There’s a saying that while some are celebrating, others are mourning. This reminds us that nothing is permanent. Both joy and sorrow are part of life, and each carries lessons for us,” he added.

According to Gauchi, “Ubuzima” is one of the key tracks on his forthcoming album “Collabo”, which will explore everyday human experiences. He emphasized that his goal is to use music as more than just entertainment, but also as a tool to inspire positive living within Rwanda and beyond.

“With this album, I want to show that music isn’t just about happiness or fun moments. It’s also about reflecting on our daily lives, encouraging good deeds, and promoting harmony with others,” he said.

The single, which has already been released with its accompanying visuals, is receiving positive feedback from fans of Rwandan music. “Ubuzima” marks one of several projects Gauchi plans to release this year as he prepares for the full launch of “Collabo.”
