Rwandan artist Nemeye Platini, popularly known as Platin P, has officially been unveiled as the new Brand Ambassador for Be One Gin. The announcement comes just days after Burundian music legend Kidum signed a similar deal with the brand outside Rwanda.
On September 8, 2025, Kidum one of the most celebrated artists in Burundi and across the East African region signed a two-year contract with Roots Investment Group Ltd., the company behind Be One Gin.
Only ten days later, Platin P, a household name in Rwandan music with a strong fan base, announced his own partnership with the gin brand.
Earlier this month, during a private listening session for his collaborative album Vibranium with Nel Ngabo, Platin P revealed that the event had been supported by Be One Gin. He even publicly thanked the company on stage, saying: “We are very grateful to Be One Gin for supporting us and making this event a success. Honestly, I feel a bit thirsty right now please bring me some Be One Gin so I can quench it.”
The celebration was also attended by several other Rwandan celebrities, who praised Be One Gin not only for “quenching thirst” but also for backing local entertainment.
Performer Darest noted: “We really appreciate Be One Gin for supporting Rwandan entertainment and helping people enjoy themselves at our shows.”
As part of his new role, Platin P will promote Be One Gin’s latest tall-bottle packaging, already available in shops across Rwanda at an affordable price compared to its premium taste.
By joining the Be One Gin family, Platin P now shares the spotlight with fellow ambassador Kidum from Burundi and other Rwandan stars, including Burikantu, Buringuni, The Real Gasana, Mideli, Kanyombya, and many more who proudly endorse the brand.
