ADEPR Gatenga, home to some of Rwanda’s most celebrated church choirs including Ukuboko kw’Iburyo and Holy Nation, has embarked on the construction of a state-of-the-art church that will cost an estimated 2 billion Rwandan Francs upon completion.
Architectural designs show an impressive multi-floor church structure with beautiful green gardens and a spacious parking area. The project is being financed through contributions from church members and supporters both in Rwanda and abroad, many of whom have also pledged to volunteer in the construction works as a spiritual offering.
Christians are being encouraged to participate in the blessing of building God’s house through contributions made to BK Account: 100152561045 or via Mobile Money using Code: 790263.
Located in Kicukiro District, City of Kigali, the new ADEPR Gatenga church will break new ground as the first in the denomination to be equipped with a modern Church Sound System designed to ensure a superior worship experience.“Imagine the drummer performing inside a specially designed booth where drum noise is fully processed and balanced in the sound mixer before reaching the congregation,” a church insider told InyaRwanda. “A church shouldn’t be completed without Christians having the opportunity to sow seeds of blessing into it.”
The advanced audio technology aims to deliver clear, high-quality sound for preaching, worship, and music, ensuring that no worshipper leaves complaining about distortion or poor sound. It will improve spiritual engagement by allowing everyone to hear the message and songs distinctly and comfortably.
Across Rwanda, several churches are undergoing major upgrades, but ADEPR has taken a lead in modernizing its worship spaces in response to guidance from the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB). The board encourages religious institutions to develop facilities that meet modern standards, reduce excessive noise, provide adequate parking and ensure safety.
As construction continues, ADEPR Gatenga calls on its faithful and friends of the ministry to take part in building what is expected to become a flagship house of worship for future generations.
