Ugandan singer Spice Diana has once again stirred speculation about her long-standing rift with fellow star Sheebah Karungi.
During a recent media interview, Diana was asked about the status of her friendship with Sheebah, a relationship that once seemed close. Her unusual reply caught many off guard: “My brother, let me go to the toilet.”
The exchange has reignited chatter around the pair, who have been at the center of rivalry rumors for years—largely fueled by their respective fan bases on social media.
The interview also touched on speculation that Sheebah, popularly known as Queen Sheebah, underwent cosmetic surgery to enhance her figure. While avoiding direct comment on the matter, Diana made it clear she would never alter her body. She added that she is not fond of tattoos and only has one small mural inked on her skin.
Music analysts, however, argue that the feud may not be as real as it appears. Entertainment critic Eddie Sendi has previously suggested that the tension between the two singers is deliberately amplified for publicity.
“From experience, there’s no actual beef between Sheebah and Spice Diana. They use controversy to sell their brands because they don’t have enough money for conventional music promotion,” Sendi said last year, noting that a lack of conflict does not necessarily make them friends.
Despite the rivalry, the two have occasionally shared the stage and supported each other’s projects. Sheebah attended Diana’s EP launch in May 2022, while Diana showed up at Sheebah’s Serena Hotel concert later that year. The exchange of appearances continued into 2023, when Sheebah returned the favor at Diana’s own concert.
