Rwandan rapper Nizeyimana Odo, popularly known as Khalfan, has confirmed that he is in a relationship with singer Irumva Jeanne D’Arc, widely known as Oxygen, officially revealing her in the video for his latest single La Fin.
Released on Monday, August 25, 2025, the video was shot in various locations across Rwanda, including Bugesera, Nyungwe, and other scenic sites.
Speaking about the project, Khalfan explained that the song carries deep personal meaning as it reflects the love he shares with his partner, whom he has already introduced to his family.
“This song La Fin (which means Until the End) is dedicated to my lover, and that’s why she appears in the video. We’ve been together for two years now. Love is something you must be certain about, and I can confidently say she is someone my family knows well—my mother knows her, and I also know her family. There was no reason to hide it,” he said.
Khalfan added that featuring his girlfriend in the video was a source of pride, emphasizing that true love grows stronger when both partners openly celebrate one another.
“I feel like my partner is someone I should be proud of. No one else could have expressed the message in my song better than her,” he added.
Oxygen, Khalfan’s partner, is an actress best known for her role in Kimenyi’s film Umuruho Wanjye and has also gained popularity on TikTok. As a singer, she has released several tracks, including Adamu It’s Okay, Promise, Mundeke, Nineza, and Like Single.
Khalfan stressed that their different artistic paths will not interfere with their relationship.
“Work comes first because it’s what sustains a family. Love, however, is what keeps a family united. I believe this won’t affect our relationship; what matters most is that she’s doing things that build her career, and I support her fully,” he explained.
La Fin was produced by Santana Sauce and First Boy, with mastering by Bob P. The visuals were directed by Dawest and Sixte.
