Shaffy, one of Rwanda’s fast-rising music stars, who has recently been releasing tracks from his debut album, has announced that he will hold a series of concerts starting in Kigali.
This artist revealed that preparations for his album launch shows are already underway.
“I have so far released five songs from the album: Bana, Jumbe, Bailando, Totally, and Serela,” he said. “I’m planning to release the remaining songs soon since the album contains a total of eight tracks.”
Based in the United States, Shaffy noted that he is in talks with different event organizers to support him in this journey. He confirmed that the concerts will kick off in Kigali between November and December this year.
Born Kalisa Uzabumwana Sharif, popularly known as Shaffy, he began his music career in 2019 with the support of producer Lick Lick. He later signed with Rockhill, a label founded by The Ben, which has since ceased artist management.
After initially releasing the single Akabanga, Shaffy began producing music independently, dropping songs such as Sukuma, Worth It, and Wine It, which paved the way for Bana—the lead track from his debut album.
