On the night of Friday, August 29, 2025, Zaria Court in Remera hosted a historic concert organized by Platini P and Nel Ngabo to give fans a first taste of their brand-new joint album, Vibranium.
The event, hosted by comedian Arthur Nkusi, turned into a star-studded celebration that brought together music lovers, top artists, and high-ranking government officials.
One of the evening’s highlights was the attendance of senior leaders, including Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; Nelly Mukazayire, Minister of Sports; and Richard Mutabazi, Mayor of Bugesera District. Their presence underscored how Rwandan music is increasingly being recognized as a cultural platform that bridges leadership with the arts in support of entertainment and national identity.
Beyond government leaders, the concert attracted a wide range of Rwandan celebrities. Renowned artists such as Bruce Melodie, Element EleéeH, Ishimwe Clement (CEO of Kina Music), Knowless Butera, King James, Davis D, Juno Kizigenza, Kivumbi King, Mistaek, and Olvis were in attendance. They were joined by music producers and instrumentalists, including Claude Uhujimfura (Kikacu Music), Kenny Mugarura (1:55 AM), and Element EleéeH.
The combination of live performances and enthusiastic support from fellow artists highlighted the growing confidence in the future of Rwandan music, with some entertainers taking the stage while others passionately cheered from the audience.
The media and entertainment industry was also well represented, with notable figures such as talent manager Muyoboke Alex, journalist David Bayingana, MC Junior Rumaga, Kabanda Jado (founder of Isibo Radio/TV), Coach Gaël, and Scovia Mutesi (founder of Mama Urwagabo).
Actors and performers added even more color to the night, including Benimana Ramadhan, popularly known as “Bamenya,” dancers from the former Kigali Boss Babes, and rising stars such as Da Rest, Diez Dola, and Junior Mbaraga.
Although the concert’s main purpose was to introduce songs from Vibranium, it ultimately became a unifying event that brought together government officials, celebrated artists, music producers, journalists, filmmakers, and fans under one roof.
The remarkable turnout and vibrant energy signaled that Platini P and Nel Ngabo’s Vibranium is not only a major artistic milestone but also a project poised to make a lasting mark on Rwanda’s music scene in 2025.
