Rwandan rapper Mistaek has confirmed that he is in a romantic relationship with singer Nicole Musoni, after weeks of speculation fueled by their frequent public appearances together. He also revealed that the two are currently working on a joint album set to be released soon.
Speaking exclusively to Africa Diplomacy , Mistaek addressed the rumors, saying:
“You’re asking if we’re dating? Yes, we are. We wouldn’t be working on an album together if we weren’t.”
The couple is preparing to release their collaborative album titled ‘Twins’, while Mistaek is also gearing up to drop a new single next week.
Mistaek rose to fame after making his official entry into the Rwandan music industry with the hit song ‘Ku Cyaro’, which became widely popular a few years ago.
Nicole Musoni, on the other hand, launched her music career in Canada. She is the daughter of legendary musician Evariste Musoni, known for classic hits such as Sinarinzi and Amayobera. Nicole is well recognized for her covers of popular songs, though she occasionally releases her own original tracks.
The pair has been spotted together on several occasions, both in Rwanda and abroad. Recently, they traveled to Uganda for music-related projects, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
Mistaek and Nicole Musoni have also become a familiar duo at concerts and entertainment events in Kigali, often seen side by side, confirming that their bond goes beyond music.
